In this 15-minute eLearning module, we will explore the prevalence and pathophysiology of xerosis, and the critical role of skin barrier dysfunction. We will address the current gaps in xerosis treatment and management, and delve into the latest evidence supporting the importance of ceramide-containing lotions for skin barrier repair and maintenance. Additionally, we will emphasise the importance of personalised treatment plans.
By the end of this module, you will be better equipped to optimise xerosis treatment and improve patient outcomes.
